To be eligible for the Holiday 2021 Offer, you must:

Here’s how the promotion works:
Purchase an annual membership for yourself directly through our website, and give one complimentary year of membership to someone of your choosing, whether a relative, coworker, friend or neighbor.

The annual membership is an auto-renewing annual subscription. Unless you cancel before the end of your current term, your payment method will automatically be charged every year at the then-current price. If I currently do not have an annual membership but had one in the past, am I eligible for this promotion?

If I purchase an annual membership through the Google Play Store, am I eligible for this promotion?
No, to access the 2021 MasterClass Holiday promotion offer you must purchase your membership via the www.masterclass.com website.
If I purchase an annual membership through the iOS Store, am I eligible for this promotion?
No, this offer is only available for purchases made directly through our website: www.masterclass.com. However, if you have already purchased an annual membership through a third-party app store during our promotional period, as a courtesy, we would be happy to work with you so that you can take advantage of this promotion by reaching out to our Support team here.
Please note, if you would like us to activate the promotion on your account, your annual membership purchase will count as a final sale and you will no longer be eligible for a refund (even if your gift is never redeemed).
Can I purchase an annual membership and then give the free annual membership gift to myself?
No, you can’t give yourself the free membership. The purpose of this promotion is to encourage giving the gift of MasterClass to others, so please send the gift to someone you know would enjoy it.
Can I use this promotion to give two free memberships instead of purchasing an annual membership for myself?
No, this promotion doesn't allow you to purchase gifts for two people. You must purchase an annual membership for yourself and then you will be provided with a free one-year membership to give to another individual of your choice.
How will my gift recipient redeem the free membership?
After you purchase your annual membership, we will present you with the option to provide information about the person you would like to give the free MasterClass membership to. All you have to do is provide us with the name, email and date of the recipient you wish to send the membership to and your recipient will receive an email with a redemption link to access their free annual membership. You can either set this gift up immediately after your purchase, or you can login and access the gift in your account to give later. Note, the gift will automatically expire if not redeemed within 365 days from your purchase of this offer.
Can I print my gift?
Yes, you can print your gift while logged into your account through the manage gift portal. To access the manage gift portal you will first need to log into your account then select "gifts" in the account menu (upper right corner). Once you are in the manage gift portal you can click "print" next to the gift you would like to print out.
What if my gift recipient already has an annual membership?
If your gift recipient previously purchased an annual membership through our website, then they can activate the free membership you send to them and it will add an additional twelve months of access to their account (note: the e-mail address for their existing account must match the e-mail address you direct their gift to). However, if your gift recipient purchased from a third party, e.g. Apple or Google, then the free membership can’t be redeemed until their existing subscription expires.
Can I give the free membership to an iOS or Android user?
Your free membership recipient must sign up on our website via the redemption link we email them. Once your gift recipient signs up, they can then use our mobile app (iOS or Android) to access classes.
I currently don’t know who I want to give my free membership to. Or I do, but don’t have their email or don’t want to send it at this time. Is that okay?
That’s fine! You can set up sending the gift membership later by clicking on “Schedule Later” and continue on to your own MasterClass membership. You can access your free gift later via the top-right menu of your MasterClass account. You will be able to set up your free gift at any time within 365 days of purchasing this promotion. Note: the gift will automatically expire 365 days from your purchase date if it is not redeemed by the recipient of your choice.
Can I schedule my annual membership gift to be sent at a later time?
Yes, you can schedule the free membership gift to be delivered to your recipient at a later date and time of your choice, but please note that the gift will automatically expire within 365 days of your purchase date if not redeemed by your recipient. If at any point you wish to send your gift, you can visit the Manage Gift portal. Please note, the annual membership you purchase for yourself will begin immediately once you complete and purchase your order.
I already sent my gift, but it has not been redeemed. Can I send it to someone else?
Yes, you can update your gift and resend to someone new as long as the gift has not been redeemed and is within 365 days of purchasing this promotion.

What is the refund policy for this promotion?
We generally offer a 30-day refund policy if you are not satisfied with your purchase, which applies to this promotion. However, to avoid abuse, our policy for this offer is that once your recipient redeems their free annual membership, you cannot get a refund. If you request and obtain a refund for your purchase before your recipient redeems their free membership, the free gift membership will automatically be voided and will no longer be redeemable.
Does the free gift membership expire?
Yes, if the free one-year annual membership gift is not redeemed by your gift recipient within 365 days from the date of your purchase of this offer, the gift will automatically expire.
Once your recipient redeems their membership gift, they will have one year of access from the date they redeemed it.
I recently purchased a MasterClass membership. How do I take advantage of this new offer?

How can I track and manage my gift?
